Jessica Simpson may have finally hit her weight loss goal last month, but the work’s not done yet. According to a source close to the 33-year-old mom of 2, Jess is still sticking to her Weight Watchers plan and hitting the gym with her trainer, Harley Pasternak, on a regular basis.
There’s no specific area of her body Jess focuses on while she’s working out, the source tells People. In order to stay fit, Jessica does a little bit of everything so that she can keep her recently acquired awesome figure — and since Jess only meets with her trainer three times a week, she makes sure to stay active on the days she’s not in the gym.
“She goes for walks with her kids and her [fiance] because she likes to keep moving when she’s not with him,” the source says. “She’s very adamant about making sure she’s active when he’s not around so she tries to get in 10,000 steps a day.”
That’s a lot of walking! But it doesn’t seem like it to Jess, since taking walks with her kids, Ace and Maxwell, is something she really loves to do.
“She likes walking in her neighborhood and people often see her doing that,” the source adds. “She really enjoys the workouts. [Because] she loves it, she’s consistent. It’s the one constant in her life that she’s always done no matter what’s happening.”
With results like Jessica’s, it’s no surprise that she’s come to love her new, healthy lifestyle. Way to go, Jess!
