The Originals Music: Songs From Season 1, Episode 18 — “The Big Uneasy”
If there’s one thing we’ve been missing since The Originals was on it’s last hiatus, it was the awesome tunes that accompany each and every episode. Thankfully this was the last break before the show completes its freshman season on May 13. Tonight’s all-new episode — Season 1, Episode 18 (“The Big Uneasy”) — kicks off the first of the last five episodes, and we’re really anxious to see what plays out in the end.
Tonight saw a real brotherly divide between Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies), with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) being the main point of contention. If these two Original bros don’t stick together through the rest of the season, there’s no telling where allegiances might fall.
But let’s get real — tonight’s episode was all about the witches and their big celebration. We figured things would take a deadly turn, but at least we got to hear some great songs along the way, right?
Check out the music from tonight’s episode:
Title: “Under the Earth” Artist: Yeah Yeah Yeahs Scene: The witches begin their celebratory parade through the French Quarter.
Title: “Dark Star” Artist: Jaymes Young Scene: Elijah attempts to talk to Davina — but she ain’t having it.
Title: “Elephant” Artist: Tame Impala Scene: Josh shows up to the party to support Davina on her big day!
Title: “When You’re Out” Artist: Kauf Scene: Josh asks Davina if she is going to open the gift or not. It’s the spell for a daylight ring, woo hoo!
Title: “Fuel to Fire” Artist: Agnes Obel Scene: Klaus confronts Cami and Elijah lovingly spies on Hayley.
