Synopsis of Glee Season 5, Episode 18: “Back-Up Plan” — Rachel Leaving Broadway For TV?
We're getting very close to Rachel's (Lea Michele) opening night for Funny Girl on Glee! Now, we're learning more about how the performance will go and what her immediate future will hold.
Fox has released the official synopsis for Season 5, Episode 18: "The Back-Up Plan," which will air on April 29. In the episode, Rachel will have become a rising star with the success of the play.
Here's what we have to look forward to from the upcoming episode:
Rachel jeopardizes her "Funny Girl" lead when she auditions for a television pilot. Meanwhile, Mercedes (guest star Amber Riley) tries to help get Santana in on her recording deal, and Blaine befriends an older, rich socialite (guest star Shirley MacLaine) in the all-new "Back-Up Plan" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, April 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
This episode sounds intriguing! We love that Santana is coming back, and it's awesome that Rachel might be on her way to becoming a TV star. However, the idea of Blaine becoming pals with a rich older woman sounds a little bit strange. We can't wait to see how it all plays out!
