Synopsis for Glee Season 5, Episode 19: “Old Dog New Tricks”

We loved this week's Glee episode, as Rachel (Lea Michele) earns raves for her opening-night Broadway performance of Funny Girl. So what is going to happen on the show in the near future?

Glee Season 5, Episode 19: "Old Dog, New Tricks," airs on May 6 and will be the second to last episode of the season. According to Fox's newly released synopsis, here's what we can expect from the episode:

In an episode written by series star Chris Colfer, Rachel attempts to salvage her reputation among Broadway gossipers by hiring Santana as her publicist and creating a charity for rescue animals. Meanwhile, Kurt (Colfer) nabs the lead role in a retirement home production of Peter Pan.

Interesting! We've been waiting for quite some time to get more concrete info on this episode, since Chris has been relatively tight-lipped about it. All he had previously revealed is that it would involve "animals and the elderly," and it now looks like that hint was true.

We can't wait to see Kurt in those green Peter Pan tights! We also think that the idea of Rachel and Santana working together has the potential to be hugely successful or wildly disastrous. Either way, we're excited to watch.

What do you think about the episode's official synopsis?
