White Collar’s Matt Bomer Says He Married Simon Halls… Three Years Ago!
Gents, if you've been furiously scribbling love letters to White Collar dreamboat Matt Bomer the past three years, you probably never had a chance. That's how long the 36-year-old actor has been secretly married!
A new interview with Details reveals that Matt wed his partner, Hollywood publicist Simon Halls, back in 2011. He just never bothered to share the happy news with his adoring fan base! (Then again, stars have a right to privacy and don't necessarily have to share anything and yadda yadda yadda.)
And what a busy three years it's been for the Texas native! In addition to continuing his role as the devilishly handsome con artist Neal Caffrey on White Collar — and publicly acknowledging his sexuality in 2012 — Matt also filmed roles for the male strip-fest Magic Mike, the time-traveling romance Winter's Tale, and the upcoming sci-fi dramedy Space Station 76.
He also made memorable guest-appearances in Glee and The New Normal before teaming up with Ryan Murphy for a third time in the highly-anticipated HBO movie The Normal Heart — based on Larry Kramer's 1985 play about the 1980s AIDS crisis.
And Matt has also been raising his three sons with Simon — one eight-year-old and two six-year-old twins.
OK, so maybe he has good reason for only getting around to this joyous reveal now!
