Lifetime has greenlit a reality show about a Catholic convent — and the network execs apparently ignored our suggestion for its title: Nun of Your Business.
Instead the six-episode unscripted series is called The Sisterhood, and it's set to track five young women as they grapple with whether or not they'll become nuns.
As The Hollywood Reporter states, the production will mark the first time cameras have been allowed inside a Catholic convent.
And this particular "sister act" isn't exactly a super-fun song-and-dance. By taking these vows, the women would be leaving behind their material goods… and their romantic prospects.
In other words, this show will likely have fewer drunken hookups than other reality shows.
The series comes from Hot Snakes Media, the same production company behind other religiously-themed reality shows like Breaking Amish, Breaking the Faith, and Return to Amish.
Unfortunately, we can't set our DVRs for this must-watch show yet — the production team hasn't even settled on a convent to film, so a premiere date might be a long ways off.
We never thought we'd see a nun reality show in our Lifetime, we're sure that watching this show will become a habit. (OK, forgive us those pun.)
