Will There Be a Desperate Housewives Reunion? Eva Longoria Says…

It’s only been two years since we packed our suitcases and left Wisteria Lane, but that doesn’t mean we miss the ladies of Desperate Housewives any less. The fabulous stars of the hit ABC show have moved on and tacked other projects since, though we’ve hoped that there might be some chance for a reunion down the line. What does Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) have to say about that?

Don’t get too excited because this Latina beauty isn’t giving us much to live for.

"I think Marc [Cherry] is super busy and successful with Devious Maids," Eva told E! News. "We fully explored the range of each character and Marc always says that there's really not much more to tell. But I love the girls and I miss playing Gaby."

Oh, Eva. We know the Desperate Housewives creator has his hands busy with Devious Maids, now in its juicy second season on Lifetime, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen later on down the road. Give it a few years and wrangle up the girls, OK?

For the meantime, however, this 39-year-old actress has her plate full with a Kickstarter campaign to fund El Voto Hispano, a documentary Eva is producing about the importance of the Latino vote in America. Luckily this project is officially funded as of April 27!

"We wanted to do the Kickstarter campaign in the same vein of a democratic process,” Eva dished. “We're trying to show Latinos, you matter, you count.”

Geez, girl. We love you so much! As long as you keep on doing you, we can perhaps get past this disappointing revelation about one of our favorite shows!

Do you hope there’s a Desperate Housewives reunion later on or should they just let it go? Hit the comments and let us know!
