If you were shocked at Lake Bell’s baby bump reveal, join the club! The 35-year-old actress debuted her burgeoning belly at the Vanity Fair party during the Tribeca Film Festival, which gave everyone a reason to stare. Now that the secret’s out, Lake is finally able to show off her bump, and you know what, guys? She’s kind of relieved.

“I think you start to get overwhelmed, and you can overthink it,” Lake told People. “I was just sick and tired of hiding it.

We hear that, Lake! Ever since she made her baby bump debut in April, Lake has been hitting the town showing off her growing belly — in body-conscious clothing, no less.

“Finally [I] can wear the dresses you can eat anything in,” added Bell. “You don’t have to pose for a photo and suck in. You can just relax and let it just accentuate your belly.”

This is the first child for Lake and her artist husband, Scott Campbell, who are actually coming close to their one-year wedding anniversary this upcoming June. “We’re going to do something,” Lake said in regards to honoring the milestone. “I think we have a lot to celebrate anyway.”

An anniversary, a baby, and a new movie? We’d have to agree with Lake, and say girlfriend has a lot going for her right now. Not only has she recently made her debut in directing the film In A World… but she also stars in the new film Million Dollar Arm, alongside Jon Hamm, which hits theaters on May 16.

“I’m thankful it’s a family movie,” Lake added as she pointed to her belly. “It’s a movie that I would be happy for any family member to see, no matter what age.” How sweet!
