Get to Know New RHOC Housewife Lizzie Rovsek and Her “Nerdy” Childhood
We finally got to meet Season 9 newbie Lizzie Rovsek on this week's episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. But did you know she was actually a bit of a nerd while she was growing up?
Lizzie reveals to The Dish that she was rather geeky in school. "I'm kind of a nerd," Lizzie admits. "I have always loved science, especially biology."
However, Lizzie proves that smart kids can be popular, too, as she was involved in student-body politics. "I was Senior Class President and Valedictorian," she says. Talk about an overachiever.
We know that Lizzie — a former beauty pageant winner — has an amazing body. But she definitely works hard for it. "I ran the Honolulu Marathon in a little over 4 hours," she divulges. Way to go, Lizzie!
In addition to running, she also stays in shape by dancing. "I used to dream of being a Rockette," Lizzie reveals. "[In fact,] I used to be a dance instructor. I taught tap, ballet and jazz." But these days, there is one thing that matters most to her: motherhood. "I absolutely LOVE being a mom," she says.
We love that Lizzie is so open about her herself, and we can't wait to see her appear on the show throughout the season.
