Regardless of whether or not Jennifer Lawrence's part in X-Men: Days of Future Past is the most emotionally-baring role, it's undoubtedly the most skin-baring.
In character as Mystique, Jen spends much of the movie — which hits theaters on May 23 — covered in blue body paint and scales, a costume which hardly leaves anything to the imagination.
On the red carpet of the May 10 New York City premiere, ET asked the Oscar winner if she's happy to be back in clothing — which, in that night's case, was a gray-blue Jason Wu gown.
"Oh my god, yeah," Jen raved. "I mean, I'm still kind of in recovery, which is the insane thing. Like, 'Am I sucking in? Ahh!' But yeah, very relieved."
Since she undoubtedly had blue paint in private places — "I can't answer that," J.Law quipped — it's a good thing her boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, plays the equally-blue Beast in the hotly-anticipated sequel.
"Uh, we'd pretty much clean each — no, I'm kidding," the 23-year-old laughed. "We didn't clean each other. We left each other alone because we were both so tired of being blue all day."
Tired or no, at least this Hollywood couple was only blue in the physical sense!
