We love Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer), but ever since Blaine relocated to New York City after graduation, things have been tense between this once happy duo. Whether it was Blaine’s Freshman Fifteen weight gain or Kurt’s jealousy of his fiancé’s recent success, there was always something preventing them from being completely content as a couple.
Unfortunately, Kurt’s jealousy (among other things) comes to a head tonight in the Season 5 finale — “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project” — when Blaine finally confesses that June Dolloway (Shirley MacLaine) never wanted Kurt in her showcase.
In the dramatic clip from TVLine, Kurt is understandably upset. His anger runs so deep he flings a sandwich bag across the room. Hell hath no fury like a Hummel scorned! “I thought I could convince her and then it wouldn’t be lies anymore,” Blaine reasons in an attempt to explain why he hid the truth from Kurt. “I love you.”
Even though Blaine’s intentions were good, Kurt isn’t having any of it. “How am I supposed to believe that you love me if I can’t even trust you?” Kurt asks, making a valid point. “You lied to me!”
Blaine is quick to apologize, but Kurt is too hurt to accept. “To bad I can’t believe in anything else you say,” he snaps at June’s new pal.
We’ve been forewarned that tonight’s Season 5 finale contains “a lot of crazy twists.” We just hope that Blaine and Kurt’s breakup isn’t one of them. Klaine is forever!
