Kristen Stewart Makes Directorial Debut For Music Video
Kristen Stewart’s adding a new line to her resume, and no, professional Twihard isn’t it. The 24-year-old channeled her creative energies in a new project for friend and musician Sage Galesi. Introducing Kristen’s first project behind the camera: She’s directing a music video!
The starlet, who next appears in drama Anesthesia, took the helm for the music video for “Take Me to the South,” a song by country-rock band Sage + The Saints. The final project has yet to hit the interwebz (look for it later this month), but behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot shows a bubbly Kristen giggling along with the rest of the crew, including co-director David Ethan Shapiro.
The crew shot the video down in Tennessee last February, and the whole venture looks like some down-home kind of fun.
Directing has actually been an interest of Kristen since she was 10, as she told Rolling Stone. Not mincing words, the actress said she’s thankful for her friend for getting her to finally grow a pair. “Basically, I’m grateful to Sage because she was like, ‘I have this little thing. No one could tell the story better than you … Just do it and stop being such a p—y.’”
Well, that’s one way to recruit new talent.
