Real Housewives of Orange County

RHOC Ratings Bounce Back With Season 9, Episode 5 — “Chairgate” Wins!

As former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin once said, “You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.” And, after this week’s explosive “Chairgate” episode, it looks like RHOC is alive and well. The episode saw an incredible ratings jump from the week before — from 1.43 million viewers to a whopping 1.74 million viewers.

It’s hard to be surprised after watching the downright amazing episode. There was something for everyone: new ladies, booze-fueled arguments over seating arrangements (now coined “Chairgate”), and what was probably the most awkward limo ride in the history of TV. (Seriously, Vicki, how hard is it to remember the name “Lizzie”?) We already love the new gals — but the tension between Vicki and Lizzie was downright delicious, and definitely left us wanting more.

Based on the promo for the rest of Season 9 Bravo has released, we can only assume the ratings will continue to pick up for these hot housewives. “Chairgate,” it seems, was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see more! The rest of Season 9 looks like it will be packed with drama, glamour, and everything else that we love about the ladies of Orange County.

Are you excited for the rest of Season 9? Or do you think the show needs to make drastic changes? Tell us in the comments!

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
