Justin Bieber, we have some advice for you: Maybe, from now on, it would just be safer if you stayed home.
Unfortunately, everyone’s favorite Canadian has found himself in hot legal water once again. According to TMZ, Justin’s once again being sued for siccing his bodyguards on an out of control paparazzo who took a few pictures Justin didn’t want being released.
Manuel Munoz, the photographer in question, says that on the night Justin was busted for DUI, he was taking pictures outside of Miami’s SET Nightclub when a Bieber guard chased him into the bathroom of a Subway restaurant and tried to beat the photos out of him. Yikes!
Manuel is now suing Justin and his bodyguard, Dwayne Patterson, for damages — and, we’re guessing, the cost of his camera, which he says was broken in the scuffle.
But since the story Manuel’s telling in the lawsuit is different from the one he gave in the initial police report, Justin’s lawyer isn’t too worried. He’s convinced that Manuel, who copped to haggling with the bodyguard for a hefty payout to hand over those photos before the fight, is just looking for cash.
“This new lawsuit filed by a paparazzo is yet another shakedown for money,” lawyer Howard Weitzman says. “The paparazzo admits that Justin was not present at the alleged ‘assault.’ The paparazzo told the police he had only scratched his knee when he was allegedly tripped, but now claims he was beat up. There are no damages.”
We’ve learned some valuable lessons as of late. Don’t photograph Justin Bieber, and stay the heck away from his bodyguards.
