Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad Alum Chris Bukowski: Where Is He Now?
It's been so long since we've felt Chris Bukowski's stormy eyes penetrating our soul, so we were stoked to see that he's making an appearance on tonight's Season 10 Premiere, no matter the circumstances. We miss this Bachelorette Season 8 contestant like crazy (as in, we're certifiably insane), and the time has come to check in on Mr. Bukow-chicka-wow-ski to see what he's been up to. You know, aside from looking super dreamy and sometimes posting sexy pictures all over the Internet.
After being rejected by Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette, Chris packed his bags and moved from Chicago to Virginia so he could open a restaurant / bar called Bracket Room. Talk about an entrepreneur! With guests like RGIII (sportsball player for the Washington Redskins) and other super athletes, we bet he's knee deep in celebs. Plus, his baby just won a major award! After being open for less than a year, his place has already scooped the "Best Sports Bar in D.C." award from In The Capital. We'd call that a hole-in-one/nothing but net/goal/swoosh/sports term!
But it's not all just about the sports and hunnies for Chris. He's used the opportunity to do great things for charity, likehosting a birthday party at The Bracket Room with proceeds going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in honor of Gia Allemand, who passed away last summer.
It's hard to believe that just a year ago, the biggest deal in his life was that he was a judge in the 2013 Mrs. D.C. pageant in March, which was an opportunity for him to "meet some of the most motivated women in the DC area." This after he tended bar at Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl cocktails launch!
But the fun doesn't stop there. Chris has been using his celebrity for a good cause, and in February 2013 he joined a fundraising initiative for MS thanks to his personal experience with friends and family affected by the disease. Sigh, what a guy!
Sadly, 2013 wasn't without its fair share of sad times for Chris. This handsome fella said goodbye to his beloved dog, Magic, on March 10, and he's been bumming ever since. "It seems cliche but sometimes Magic was the only one I could talk to in tough times, and he was a hell of a listener," Chris posted on Facebook. "I'll love him forever and never forget him." Lucky for him — and dog lovers everywhere — Chris turned his frown upside down with the help of new lady friend Miley. No, not Cyrus. This girl is a darling dog and man is she cute!
