Even with ten seasons under its belt, Grey's Anatomy is hardly showing its age. At least, that's what the ratings are saying!
According to TV by the Numbers, the show was the No. 1 drama this season on all of broadcast TV — that includes ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and The CW — in the key 18-to-49 demographic.
Even better, Season 10 saw an increase of 5 percent in terms of 18-to-49-year-olds, making it the most-watched season of Grey's in three years in that demo.
With other genres included, the show is No. 4 overall for the season — only behind The Big Bang Theory, the Monday episodes of The Voice, and Modern Family.
This Grey's season's success has helped ABC beat the other networks in May ratings — the first time the network has pulled off that feat in 14 years.
Also helping ABC along this season is Scandal (No. 7 overall) and new show Resurrection (No. 9) — as well as great ratings for Shark Tank, the Barbara Walters farewell special, and the Michael Jackson-boosted Billboard Music Awards.
How good is it to see a veteran show like Grey's helping out all those young whippersnapper shows? No wonder it's coming back for Season 11. Break out the champagne, Grey's fans.
