Another season of Survivor has come and gone. Which castaway outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted all the others in Survivor: Cagayan? Read on to find out!
This season started with the 18 players split up into three distinct groups: Brawn, Brains, and Beauty. These cliques went head-to-head for a few weeks, using their athleticism, intelligence, and attractiveness to their advantage before eventually merging into one team, Solarrion, at the end.
When it was all said and done, the finale — which aired in the show’s normal Wednesday night timeslot on May 21 instead of a Sunday night special — came down to 39-year-old Tony Vlachos from New Jersey and 29-year-old Yung “Woo” Hwang from California. When the jury cast their final votes, Tony bested Yung in an 8-1 vote. Either way, a guy from the Brawns group would walk away the winner, but it was Tony who reigned supreme.
Now that we’ve weathered another season of Survivor, we’re already hungry for another adventure. How long will we have to wait for Survivor: San Juan del Sur? Season 29 of the hit CBS reality competition show will premiere sometime in Fall 2014, so you’ll just have to enjoy Big Brother to get through the summer slump.
