House Star Lisa Edelstein Marries Artist Robert Russell
It's been a busy week for actress Lisa Edelstein, as the House star celebrated her birthday and got married!
People reports that Lisa, 48, got hitched to artist Robert Russell in Los Angeles on May 25. At the wedding ceremony, the lovebirds exchanged gold bands that were designed by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane.
"They're very happy, very loving," says a source about the couple.
Lisa - whose birthday was on May 21 — is best known for playing Dr. Cuddy on the first seven seasons of the popular Fox medical drama House. In 2013, she appeared in three episodes of Castle, two episodes of House of Lies, and an episode of Scandal.
She will be starring on Bravo's first-ever scripted series, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, which is set to premiere in 2015. The show — based on a book series of the same name — is being created by Marti Noxon, who has written for Glee and was the showrunner for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Divorce is set to co-star Janeane Garofalo and Scandal's Paul Adelstein. We can't wait for it, since Bravo airs some of our favorite shows!
We wish all the best to the happy couple!
