Girl Meets World’s 12-Year-Old Star is Making HOW Much Per Episode?
It looks like the star of the Disney Channel’s upcoming Girl Meets World is one lucky girl.
12-year-old actress Rowan Blanchard, who stars as the show’s title character, is pulling in bank for her appearances on the series, which recently wrapped production on its first season, scheduled to air on June 27.
TMZ reports that Rowan will pull in a staggering $10,000 per episode — a whole lot more than we remember making for our business ventures as 6th graders.
Rowan, who has previously starred in films including The Back-Up Plan and Spy Kids 4, will play Riley Matthews on the series, the daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel), the stars of Boy Meets World, which ended its seven-year run before Riley was even born, back in 2000.
While even a one-time payment of $10K would be a pretty handsome sum for a kid her age, Riley can plan to keep cashing her GMW checks for a while to come. Even though the show hasn’t hit the air yet, it’s been picked up for a 21-episode run, meaning Riley will pocket $210,000 — and an additional $150K if she signs on for a movie.
