Once Upon a Time Season 4 is months away, but that doesn't mean we can't start thinking about it!
There aren't exactly reams of spoilers out there yet, but there have been some hints about what we can expect from next year, and we expect more info will leak as the summer goes on. For now, we've gathered everything we know about the new season right here, and we'll keep you updated as more spoilers appear.
Frozen! As we saw at the end of the Season 3 finale, Frozen's Elsa has come to Storybrooke. What does that mean for next season? Elsa's definitely going to play a big role, but she's not necessarily going to be the Big Bad of the season. In fact, it sounds like the showrunners intend for her not to be a villain — but that doesn't mean she won't be mistaken for one.
Meanwhile, the showrunners haven't confirmed any other specific characters from the smash hit, co-creator Adam Horowitz did say he'd be "very disappointed if Elsa was the only one from that world that you saw."
The Knave. Speaking of beloved characters, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland may be cancelled, but there's a silver lining — breakout character Will Scarlet (aka the Knave), played by the utterly loveable Michael Socha, is coming to the main show as a series regular!
So far the showrunners are remaining curiously mum about how exactly Will fits into the story next season, though, saying only "we have a way for him to fit into our group that’s fun. He’ll bring a new vibe and color to the show." Will was one of Robin's merry men once, so that seems like the obvious connection. Of course, this is Once Upon a Time, so for all we know he'll also end up being related to Rumple or something.
Emma vs. Regina? Emma and Regina managed to become almost friends this season, but it sounds like that might have gone down the drain now that Emma has brought Marian back into the picture, potentially ruining Regina's happy ending.
Will Belle learn Rumple’s deceit? Belle and Rumple tied the knot in the Season 3 finale, but their relationship isn't exactly problem free. For example: Rumple totally lied to Belle about giving her the dagger and, you know, not killing Zelena. Will Belle find out the truth? It sounds like the answer is yes, eventually.
What's in the cards for Emma and Hook? Emma and Hook ended Season 3 in a happy, makeout-filled place. Will they be able to keep the relationship up? The showrunners are keeping the answer there vague, but one thing seems clear: whether or not they stay together, the sailing isn't going to be smooth.
