Carlton Gebbia Calls Getting Fired From Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “A Blessing in Disguise”

In what may be the most expected firing from any Real Housewives series, Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia have both been axed from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after just one season. So how is Wiccan beauty Carlton handling her dismissal from the show? Rather well, actually!

“I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show,” Carlton revealed to E!’s Giuliana Rancic at the Hollywood premiere of Maleficent last night, May 28. “It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.”

At the time, Carlton claimed Bravo had yet to actually notify her of her firing, though E! did confirm that the rumblings were true. There’s no word yet on any replacements for these two ladies next year, though the show has been renewed for Season 5. We don’t know who will join Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards, and Yolanda Foster — but we’re anxious to find out!

And while Carlton says that she really did enjoy “working for Bravo,” that doesn’t mean she’s going to miss the drama. “I would like to go into a show and not have to watch the knives coming at my back. That would be great!”

You know what, Carlton? It’d be great to go into a show without preconceived notions about other people too. Try that next time and see how it goes!

Are you sad to see Carlton go or are you thrilled? Hit the comments and let us know!
