Lea Michele (Rachel) recently confirmed that despite an early 2015 premiere date, Glee’s sixth and final season will begin filming this July, much like it has in years past. But it turns out star Kevin McHale (Artie) will be in front of cameras again earlier than his castmates; his new show, Virtually Famous, kicks off production next month!
According to ApplauseStore.com, the company that handles ticketing for Kev’s new project, the first three filming dates are Wednesday, June 25, Friday, June 27, and Wednesday, July 2. We’d love to see Kev do his thang on Virtually Famous, but unfortunately the show films all the way across the pond in London. The silver lining is that Kevin should be back stateside in time to start work on Glee by the middle of July.
But if you’re ever in the neighborhood when this show is in production we highly recommend you check it out. Applause describes the new offering as a “brand new weekly, comedy quiz show that celebrates the weird and wonderful people who have been catapulted to online fame.”

The site also says “Viners, Life Hackers, Pranksters, Plankers, Lip 'Syncers', and Chocolate 'Rainers’” will join forces with Kevin and his two teams of comedians and celebs to “find out exactly what the internet has taught us.” If you ask us, the internet has taught us that French Bulldogs will always put a smile on your face and double rainbows are a rare phenomena that will invariably illicit a crazed reaction every time they’re captured in all of their glory.
