Michelle Howard says she deserves more of ex-husband Terrence Howard's Empire — saying that the Academy Award nominee owes her nearly half a million dollars.
Here's the skinny: According to TMZ, Michelle claims that the Prisoners actor has missed 49 spousal support payments, almost all of the payments that have been due since their 2012 divorce.
Apparently, all those past-due payments total $325,000. And she's asking for $106,000 to cover attorney and accountant fees.
TMZ also reports that Terrence's legal team is ready to quit, having asked a judge to release them from the case over "a total and complete breakdown in communications."
Yikes. Not the kind of publicity Terrence could use before next season's premiere of his new hip hop industry drama, Empire.
The 45-year-old star has been married three times. Before his year-long marriage to Michelle, Terrence had two marriages to Lori McCommas: one from 1989 to 2003 and another from 2005 to 2007. He and Lori have three children.
Terrence's troubled relationship with Michelle made headlines in August when TMZ reported that Michelle accused him of assault and got a restraining order against him.
