Royal Family Is Expecting Twins! When Is She Due? (UPDATE)
Updated Story (October 7, 2014): Sounds like Monaco is going to hear the sweet pitter patter of not only two feet — but four! According to Hello!, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II are expecting twins.
“I feel absolutely great,” the former Olympic swimmer gushed to the magazine, which recently caught up with the mama-to-be in New York. If you thought that news was exciting, the royal babies are due to make their grand debut at the end of this year. Just in a few months time!
Original Story (May 30, 2014): Another royal baby is on the way! The stork’s paid a visit to one of the many palaces of Europe, so send your congratulations to the Prince and Princess of Monaco! Oh, you thought we meant another couple? Our b.
This will be the first baby for Prince Albert and wife Princess Charlene; the couple married in July 2011, just three months after that other famous blue-blooded couple walked down the aisle. The Monaco royals announced their happy news in an official statement on May 30, saying they expect their little one to arrive “at the end of the year.”
The 56-year-old Prince Albert II is the son of the late Prince Rainier III and famous Hollywood starlet Grace Kelly. Charlene, 36, is a national champion swimmer hailing from South Africa who met her Prince Charming at a Monte Carlo swimming event in 2001.
As for that other Royal Family we’re constantly on baby bump watch for, Kate Middleton doesn’t appear to have another pregnancy on the books quite yet. She and hubby Prince William just stopped by a Scottish whiskey distillery and had no problem sampling the wares.
No rush or anything, Kate. We fully expect Baby No. 2 to be as cute as Prince George and, honestly, that might be too much adorableness for us to handle at the moment.
