Real Housewives of Orange County

Why Is Shannon Beador’s Mansion For Sale — Divorce or Heather Dubrow to Blame?

Do you have nearly $13.5 million lying around collecting dust? Have you already bought all your Christmas presents? Well, we’ve got good news! The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer Shannon Beador has put her insanely enormous home on the market, and it can be yours for the low, low price of $13,498,000.

The estate is a whopping 13,306 square feet and features seven bedrooms, eight full and five half bathrooms, multiple kitchens, a craft room, and a “secret tea room” — and also comes with a personal basketball court! What a bargain! What a steal! The only question is: Why is Shannon selling?

An insider shared a bit of insight into the move with All Things Real Housewives: “Shannon and David listed their home for sale because they had to downsize.” The source added, “They are not getting divorced, in fact they have already purchased land where they plan to build a new, more practical home.” Hmmm. But could Shannon’s arch-enemy Heather Dubrow possibly be responsible? “Shannon’s rift with Heather Dubrow that is playing out on this season of RHOC has nothing to do with the Beador’s decision to move,” the source, who is no fun at all, said, crushing our dreams into a 13.5 million little pieces.

Do you think Shannon will actually buy a more sensible house? Do you think Heather is somehow responsible for this? Let us know in the comments!

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
