Bachelorette 2014 Episode 4: Brian Osborne Shoots and… Totally Misses
Call it the Eric Taylor Effect if you will, but there’s just something about Brian Osborne that has us wanting to suit up for gym class. The totally cute, argyle sweater-wearing babe from Pennsylvania made a big impression on Andi Dorfman in Episode 4, but not necessarily for the reasons he wanted. Trying to impress the gorgeous gal, basketball coach Brian tried to shoot a half court shot and… missed. Well, not on the shot (that was a swoosh), but on the kiss, winning him this week’s Bachelorette Bleachable Moment presented by Clorox.
Part of what we love so much about the 27-year-old from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is that he’s a little shy, despite his mad skills on the court. But after impressing Andi with his half court shot, he totally could have leaned in for the kiss. In fact, we were screaming from our seats (the cheap ones, in case you were wondering) for Bri to plant one on her. It would’ve been a total layup, but instead, he hugged her, nearly isolating himself in the friend zone. For that reason, 56 percent of Viggle users handed over the shame award.

Meanwhile, Marcus Grodd probably didn’t know how close he had come to getting the dubious honor for one particular moment during his 1-on-1 date. After facing his fear of heights (er, gravity) in rappelling down the side of a 30-story building in 50-mph winds, you’d think he'd have the confidence thing on lock. But at his dinner with Andi, he couldn’t handle the rose taunting him from the table, and covered it with his napkin. His hiding of the “elephant in the room” earned the 25-year-old 44 percent of the Viggle vote.
Do you think Brian’s near-friend zoning was worth the win, or was Marcus showing his true cards the bigger loser?
