For the past two seasons of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, we’ve watched as Rasheeda Frost struggled with her husband, Kirk Frost’s infidelity. As we wonder in awe as to why Rasheeda’s clinging on to her barely-there marriage, Kirk has maintained that he’s not the only one who could have done something while the two were “going through some things.” And as it turns out, Kirk just might be right.
Yes — Rasheeda has also been a bad girl! But when VH1.com caught up with the rapper to get the details, she asserts that she’s “made mistakes,” but never in her 18-year marriage to Kirk.
“Not in our marriage I have not,” Rasheeda said of cheating on hubby Kirk, going on to say, “Things aren’t always perfect and people make mistakes.”
As while Rasheeda (kind of) admits to making a mistake in the past, she asserts that she’s never done anything since the couple got married — and because of this, watching Kirk give their son, Karter, a paternity test made her feel terrible.
“The paternity test situation I really feel like that's — was totally disrespectful and pissed me off to the utmost," she said, adding “You know men do stupid shit because of insecurities within them. Not because of me. I haven’t done anything. When you talk to Kirk you ask him ‘What has Rasheeda done to make you feel like you would need to do that?’ The answer is nothing.”
We’re never one to condone any of Kirk’s actions, but it seems to us that Kirk’s “insecure” behavior could be a result of Rasheeda’s past indiscretions… in the same way Rasheeda doesn’t trust Kirk now because of his naughtiness in Season 2.
Whatever the case, we hope these two can figure something out, and quick. Baby Karter’s too cute to have his parents fighting all the time!
