Guys, the Love & Hip Hop Season 5 roster is looking pretty scant, as quite a few stars are revealing whether or not they’re coming back to the hit VH1 New York franchise. Veterans Rich Dollaz (with new girlfriend in tow), Yandy Smith (and maybe fiancé Mendeecees Harris), Erica Mena, and Cyn Santana all plan to return, while Tahiry’s comeback is still up in the air. So what about Tahiry’s on-again, off-again love interest, Joe Budden — is he coming back?
During a radio interview recently, Joe said that he was set to rejoin the cast, but he wasn’t sure if he was going to get any screen time.
“Well, I’m signed on, but being signed on and actually being on are two different things,” he said, further sharing, “The entire premise of that show, is a relationship-based show and I haven’t been in a relationship since the proposal, so I’m not sure what they would be filming.”
Hmm… while that doesn’t say much, it definitely says a lot about Joe’s current status with Tahiry, who turned down his marriage proposal in Season 4.
The cast seems to be dwindling since K. Michelle has officially left the franchise for her own reality TV show, while Season 4’s not-so-fan-fave Saigon and his baby mama, Erica Jean, have signed off for good.
And while Peter Gunz’s thinking of returning, we’re not sure whether or not his (now) pregnant wife, Amina Buddafly, or his baby mama, Tara Wallace, will be coming back with him.
So you know what that means guys: a batch of new blood will be coming this season.
Are you excited to see Joe Budden come back to the franchise or are you OK to see him go? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
