Princesses: Long Island Star Casey Cohen Denies She Was Jay Z’s Mistress

Once just one of six stars of a short-lived Bravo show, Princesses: Long Island's Casey Cohen has attracted a lot more media attention in recent days — and she's not happy about the reasons why.

Various outlets have reported that Casey has been getting a little too close with Jay Z, and now the reality star is threatening legal action. As TMZ touts, Casey and her lawyer have issued a cease-and-desist letter, asking for all inflammatory posts to be taken down and for a public apology to be issued to Casey as well as to Jay and Beyonce.

The letter says that Casey has, in fact, met Jay and Bey on several occasions — because she works as a VIP hostess in New York City. Casey and her lawyer say that she and Jay "have never been in love or intimate" and the reports are nothing but "a foul and phony mistress-rumor."

In case you didn't see Casey's other claim to fame, Bravo's Princesses: Long Island followed her and five other affluent and college educated women living with their parents on Long Island. Casey's Bravo bio says she works for a hospitality company serving NYC hotspots Butter, 1OAK, and The Darby.

The show has not been canceled officially, but Bravo has made no mention of a Season 2.

Who do you believe? The tabloids or Casey? Sound off below!
