Tracy Morgan Out of Hospital, In Rehab Center Two Weeks After Crash (VIDEO)
Good news for Tracy Morgan fans: The goofy comedian and 30 Rock alum is out of the hospital and working his way toward recovery at a rehab center.
The 45-year-old suffered broken ribs, a broken nose, and a broken leg in a multivehicle crash in New Jersey on June 7 when a Wal-Mart truck collided with a van transporting him and others from a Delaware comedy gig.
Comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair, a longtime friend and mentor of Tracy's, lost his life in the crash and four passengers suffered injuries, including Tracy.
Now, nearly two weeks later, his rep tells Us Weekly Tracy has been released from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and that he's starting work at a rehab center, where he's expected to stay for a few weeks.
“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go,” the rep states. “He and [fiancée Megan Wollover] wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”
Here's wishing Tracy a swift recovery. Keep on keepin' on, bud!
