Shia LaBeouf Arrested for “Disruptive Behavior” Outside Broadway Show (VIDEO)
Looks like the bright lights of Broadway were too much to handle for Shia LaBeouf.
ABC News is reporting the Transformers actor was arrested after attending the Broadway show Cabaret. Allegedly, Shia had been smoking outside the theater and "engaging in other disruptive behavior." When the police arrived, he threatened the officers and random people on the street outside the theater. A representative for the actor has not returned ABC's request for comment.
He was booked on two counts of disorderly conduct and one count on criminal trespassing — which is definitely a far cry from the adorkable nerd we all remember from Even Stevens.
This isn't the first time Shia has stirred up trouble and controversy. He was reportedly videotaped headbutting a man during a bar brawl in London, and wore a brown paper bag over his head during a recent movie premiere in Germany. And, to make things even worse, he was criticized for plagarizing Daniel Clowes's graphic novel when he made his short film HowardCantour.com.
