Bachelorette 2014: Who Got Eliminated on Episode 7 in Belgium?
We’ve got some good news and some bad news. Let’s rip the band-aid off and go with the bad first: In tonight’s Episode 7 of The Bachelorette, we had to say goodbye to two of Andi Dorfman’s handsome suitors (two of our favorites, to be exact). The silver lining? Well, for one they’re single (yay!), and two, we’re heading back to the U.S. for Hometown Dates next week!
But first, let’s give the six men of the Brussels-set episode their due. This week saw two 1-on-1 dates — one with noncommittal baller Josh Murray in the romantic mini city of Ghent, and one with Mr. Heart on His Sleeve Marcus Grodd. Lucky for Andi, both guys showed a different side of themselves, which kept them kicking for another week.
Puppy dog Marcus totally won (at least part of) Andi’s heart when he revealed a darker side of himself, particularly with his abusive childhood and abandonment. And did you see the way her eyes lit up when Josh finally dropped the L-bomb? Two tickets to Hometowns: do pass Go and collect $200!
The group date, however, was a little less successful. Though the tandem rail bike was funny, and the monastery was surprisingly romantic (no touching!), the awkwardness between the guys was tangible, thanks to that McSneaky/McSalty Nick Viall. The salesman pissed off fellow date-goers Brian Osborne, Dylan Petitt, and Chris Soules by flaunting his confidence and snagging the Group Date Rose. Sorry, boys!
In a final bid for the chance to introduce Andi to their families, Chris, Brian, and Dylan all attempted to warn the Bachelorette about Nick not being there for the “right reasons” (™). Alas, it didn’t work, and in the end Brian and Dylan were sent packing. Sads!
We will miss you boys, but at least we’ve got Dylan on Bachelor in Paradise to look forward to. Just think of the ponytails we have yet to see! Plus, there’s plenty of Brian and his dimples to be had at the After the Final Rose special. Cheer up, y’all!
Were you sad to see Brian and Dylan go? Who do you think Andi’s going to pick? Tell us in the comments below.
