Mark Salling Joins Instagram!

We haven’t heard much from Glee star Mark Salling (Puck) since he’s stepped away from the show a bit (though he did make a few appearances in Season 5) but it looks like that’s all about to change. Mark has been an active Twitter user for several years, but just last week he added another social media channel to his repertoire and we’re most certainly not complaining!

On June 27, Mark officially joined Instagram and his first photo is exactly what we would have expected from the 31-year-old actor. In the pic he’s holding up a talk bubble sign that says, “You are not alone.” His caption plays off that, reading, “You are not alone, I have an Instagram.”

Mark has only posted a handful of other photos thus far — including several of him playing disc golf with a pal in Florida — but on June 30 he added a snap that gave us a bit more insight into why he finally caved and joined the popular photo sharing site. “New Year's resolution complete. I have joined the Instaverse. Holler at me when the Instachorus is poppin,” he wrote alongside a playful photo of himself at the piano with a xylophone in front of him. We’re not exactly sure what’s going in the photo (Mark’s also sporting a cowboy hat and we think we can spot his SAG Award on the piano) but we kinda like it!

In just a few short days Mark has already amassed an impressive 10,300 followers and counting, so if you love Mark we suggest you follow MarkSalling on Instagram ASAP. And although he hasn’t been confirmed to come back for even part of Glee Season 6, we have a feeling he will show up in some capacity for the FOX show’s last hurrah, meaning we should be on the look out for some Instagram posts of photos from the set!

Are you going to follow Mark on Instagram? Tell us your plans below!

Glee Season 6 is expected to debut in 2015.
