Bachelor in Paradise Spoilers: Which Couples Are Still Together?
It’s hard to believe there’s only one episode left of Bachelor in Paradise, meaning we’ll have to find a new excuse for our Monday night wine binge. It’s been a drama-filled six episodes, and we are crossing our fingers for even more antics during tonight's September 8 finale. While there are no prizes on this guilty pleasure show — aside from leaving Paradise with a shiny new relationship — the big question on everyone’s mind is: Which couples will make it to the end… and beyond?
So who, if anyone, actually found love in a hopeless place? And whose relationship goes the distance in the real world? Thanks to spoiler kingReality Steve, we know that all but two of the couples break up in the Season 1 finale. What the what? That means they drop like flies next week, y’all! The two couples that say “I just met you, and this is crazy but let’s ride this train, shall we baby?” are: Michelle Money and Cody Sattler and Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul.
Marcus and Lacy sitting in a tree doesn’t surprise us much. Despite that whole initial Robert Graham hiccup, the lovebirds have been on the same super schmoopy page since day one in Tulum. Fellow castmates often remarked the two were already basically married, and — wait for it! — turns out they may soon be. Rumor has it Lacy is sporting a sparkler on her ring finger, courtesy of Blue Eyes.
Happy couple number two shocks us a bit more. Michelle seemed so skittish about Cody’s lovey-dovey ways after their wedding photo date, we were sure she was gonna drop him like 250 lbs at the end of a dead lift. Not so! In fact, though they haven’t gone the way of Marcus and Lacy and exchanged vials of blood, CodyCode is also rumored to be relocating to Michelle’s home base of Salt Lake City. That news makes us happy enough to take a selfie while doing squats (jokes — we don’t do squats). Michelle needs a good man, and Cody, well, he just needs someone to wrap his beefy muscles of love around…
So how does it all go down? According to RS, the final six couples at the end of the season are put to the test, with those that want to stay together choosing to enter the Fantasy Suite for an overnight date. Oddly, there are a few pairs who pass on the free night’s stay in Romance Town. Tasos Hernandez opts to say adios to Christy Hansen over spending a night together, and Graham Bunn puts his smarty pants on and finally tells AshLee Frazier “thanks, but no thanks.”
According to Steve, Sarah Herron and Robert Graham say “hells yeah” we’ll overnight it, but she breaks up with him the next day (residual Brooks Forester feelings?). #Sadface. Steve isn’t sure if Jackie Parr and Zack Kalter enter Fantasy Suites or pass, but he does know they break up before the end of the episode.
So that leaves the aforementioned lasting couples, Groddoul and M.Satts. Time will tell if these adorable TV pairings will last, but it’s clear that the producers really want them to. They even roped in their prized models of successful Bachelor/ette coupledom — Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici — to give the final BiP couples advice on “making their relationship work.”
Not a bad move, ABC!
