RHOC Newbie Danielle Gregorio Played Matchmaker — And it Worked!
It turns out The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer Danielle Gregorio is not only good at causing drama (a pre-requisite for becoming a bonafide Real Housewife!) but may also have a flair for matchmaking. Yep, turns out Danielle is giving Patti Stanger a run for her money!
According to the June wedding announcement from her brother-in-law, Andy Gregorio, Danielle was the one who introduced him to his new wife, Kelsey Kennedy, and acted as bridesmaid in the couple’s July 5th ceremony. Cute!
The couple’s wedding site reads: “Andy first saw Kelsey in 2008 on a friends Facebook picture. When he inquired about her, he was informed that she had a boyfriend. Fast-forward two years… Danielle, Andy’s sister-in-law, met Kelsey via Tory Burch and thought Andy and Kelsey (now single) would be a perfect match. She introduced them and on December 22, 2010 they went on their first date.”
As we previously reported, Danielle made waves before even appearing on RHOC, thanks to what appeared to be a less-than-truthful representation of her education. The interior designer's company website stated that she had attended Cal State Fullerton and graduated with a degree in Business, when she had not in fact graduated. However, a statement from her publicist seems to have cleared up that misunderstanding.
"Danielle’s business partner originally wrote the bio found on daniellekayeds.com and she was unaware at the time that Danielle had not completed her degree, the statement reads, adding, "The website has since been changed to reflect that." It turns out Danielle 's business partner also manages the company's social media websites. Well, degree or no degree, it sounds like Danielle has a pretty sweet fallback option if her career as a decorator doesn't pan out. Somehow we don't think that's going to be a problem, though.
