Dancing With The Stars

Cheryl Burke Names Her Worst Dancing Partner — You May Be Surprised

Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke has seen it all. She’s been on the show since Season 2, with two Mirror Ball trophies to her name and every imaginable type of partner. She’s danced with the good (Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Gilles Marini), the bad (Tom DeLay, Wayne Newton) and the ugly (William Levy - on Opposite Day).

Cheryl was just on Access Hollywood, and after admitting that she has hooked up with a partner in the past (she joked that it was Tom DeLay, but she’s previously admitted to a fling with Chad Ochocinco), she was asked about her least talented celeb. Who was the worst dancer out of them all?

Before you read Cheryl’s answer, take a look at her list of partners and figure out which one you’d pick:

Season 2: Drew Lachey

Season 3: Emmitt Smith

Season 4: Ian Ziering

Season 5: Wayne Newton

Season 6: Cristian de la Fuente

Season 7: Maurice Greene

Season 8: Gilles Marini

Season 9: Tom DeLay

Season 10: Chad Ochocinco

Season 11: Rick Fox

Season 12: Chris Jericho

Season 13: Rob Kardashian

Season 14: William Levy

Season 15: Emmitt Smith (again)

Season 16: D.L. Hughley

Season 17: Jack Osbourne

Season 18: Drew Carey

We didn't have to teach any of them to dance, but we probably should’ve guessed the guy Cheryl named, considering he got a score of 12 (three 4s, ouch) in Week 1 and seemed really defeated by the whole DWTS process.

Here’s Cheryl’s worst dancer answer: "Surprisingly — D.L. Hughley. Seriously, though, no rhythm?” Billy Bush couldn't believe Tom DeLay had more rhythm than D.L. Hughley, but Cheryl said it was true. Hey, at least she never had to dance with Master P!

Would you have picked D.L. as the worst dancer of the bunch?

DWTS Season 19 premieres Monday, September 15 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
