Larenz Tate Previews USA’s Rush: “If Nicki Minaj Had a Medical Scare, Rush Would Be the Guy to Call” (VIDEO) — Exclusive
Every dreamy USA leading man needs an equally handsome, yet slightly polar opposite sidekick, and on the network’s new medical fixer drama Rush, that role belongs to Larenz Tate.
The actor plays Dr. Alex, a “straight-laced” family man who just so happens to be the charismatic titular character’s best friend. Of course, that doesn’t mean Alex won’t find himself getting involved with Hollywood’s dark underbelly alongside Rush (played by Tom Ellis). In tonight’s series premiere, Alex makes a choice that could put his medical career on the line, and Larenz tells Wetpaint Entertainment that Alex will definitely have to do damage control.
Watch the video above for more scoop on Rush, Larenz’s take on Rush and Alex’s dynamic, and how he's bringing sexy back.
Tune into the series premiere of Rush on Thursday, July 17 at 9 p.m. ET on USA, followed by the series premiere of Satisfaction at 10 p.m. ET.
