American Horror Story: Freak Show — First Real Photo of Sarah Paulson’s Conjoined Characters
Enough with the fake-outs! We're finally getting an actual look at the upcoming saga American Horror Story: Freak Show — the fourth season of the acclaimed FX anthology — and it's coming straight from the source.
On July 17, AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy tweeted a picture of "Dot and Bette's first day" — Dot and Bette being the conjoined twins played by two-time AHS Emmy nominee Sarah Paulson.
In the season's storyline, Sarah's twin characters are two of a number of "freaks" rounded up by Jessica Lange's German expat for a 1950s-era sideshow in Jupiter, Florida.
Sarah herself announced that she'd be playing conjoined characters a month ago alongside a photo of two versions of her head atop the same body. As it turned out, however, that photo was just a mockup of what her character could look like.
Now we have the real deal, as you can see here. Considering the 39-year-old actress only has one head — how sad for her! — which of these noggins is hers? We certainly can't tell!
Another recent fake-out was the eerily-convincing Freak Show teaser that turned out to be fan-made. But the faux-promo, entitled "Fallen Angel," is a masterpiece — so check it out.
