Well, some lucky media outlets were at the actual taping and reported back with these behind the scenes tidbits that Bachelor Nation-ers need to know. Read on for the best moments we didn’tget to see:
JJ O’Brien Put in His Two Cents at the End
Remember when JJ piped in to defend himself during Marquel Martin’s time in the hotseat? According to TVGuide, that was really at the end of the show, when audience members and Season 10 contestants alike were very ready to GTFO. Needless to say, that didn’t help JJ’s popularity much.
Marquel Martin Refused to Strip Down
Prints Charming Marquel has made a few casual references to his strong faith during the season, but apparently it’s even more prominent in his life than was shown on air. The handsome sponsorship salesman revealed at MTA that he opted out of stripping to his skivvies during Episode 2’s Magic Mike-esque group date. “I told one of the producers, 'I'm not stripping down to my underwear,' and I was the one of the few to make that stance,” he said. “I had a conversation with Andi and said, 'I'll take my shirt off,' but because of my faith and job I wasn't comfortable with doing it. She was very understanding and it was tasteful what they showed, but they didn't show that conversation."
Nick Sutter and Patrick Jagodzinski Threw Shade at Andi
Boys, boys, boys, don’t you know that you should never turn on the Bachelorette? Sadly, golfer Nick and Andrew Poole sidekick Patrick never learned that lesson. While we saw the newly haired Nick tell Andi she “had her guard up,” he also reportedly called her “cold.” Meanwhile, Pat took it even further and questioned her decision to leave her post as assistant district attorney in Atlanta (veiling it as a “concern”). Puh-lease.
Chris Soules Was Mad at JJ For Calling Him the P-Word
Were you dying to know what that bleeped out word pantsapreneur JJ used in reference to fave farmer Chris? We certainly were, as it got the normally calm Bachelor Season 19 hopeful real riled up. Zap2It says the mot in question was “p—sy,” (as in “meow!”), which, calm down Chrissy poo.
We’re Not Done With Those Lie Detector Results
If you were one of the many shouting at Andi to open Josh Murray’s lie results (which he claims to have revealed here, BTW), then you’ll be happy to know that these answers come up in the finale. Host Harrison told Zap2It backstage at the MTA that he’s going to bring Josh and Nick Viall’s answers back up during the final show. Wahoo!
Are you surprised ABC chose not to air all this? Sound off in the comments below.
