Dianna Agron

Dianna Agron Lands Next Movie Role — Who Are Her Co-Stars?

Dianna Agron’s (Quinn) movie career is red hot right now and the 28-year-old actress is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, the former Glee star is doing quite the contrary, having just booked yet another film role in a project called Bare.

We were pretty bummed when Dianna chose to scale back her role on Glee after Season 3 in favor of working on more feature films, but she’s quickly proven to be one of Hollywood’s brightest (and busiest!) young stars. Earlier this year alone she shot Tumbledown in Massachusetts with the likes of True Blood’s Joe Manganiello, Jason Sudeikis, and others. And as we type she’s finishing up Headlock, the latest Mark Polish movie featuring Justin Bartha, Andy Garcia, and more.

So what’s next for this busy bee? She’ll be playing the lead role of Sarah Burton in Bare, which is the story of a young girl (Sarah) living in a small desert town in Nevada who becomes romantically involved with a female drifter who leads her into a life of drugs, stripping, and psychedelic spiritual experiences. The role of the drifter is slated to be played by Boardwalk Empire’s Paz de la Huerta.

The film also stars Imogen Poots, Chris Zylka, Rachel Korine and Riley Keough. Yes, Elvis’ granddaughter. Written and helmed by first-time movie director, Natalia Leite, Bare is scheduled to start shooting in Albuquerque and Moriarty, New Mexico any day now and is expected to wrap in mid-August.

Sarah certainly sounds very different from Quinn, but we’re eager to see what Di can do with a grittier role. After all, she’s not the only Glee actress pushing herself to take on different parts these days!

Are you excited to see what Dianna will do with Bare? Sound off below!
