Camilla Luddington Heaps Praise on Grey’s Anatomy Co-Stars — How Sweet!
Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) is one of the newest members of the Grey's Anatomyfamily — having first appeared in Season 9 and becoming a series regular for Season 10 — but it's clear she was a natural fit from the start.
In a recent interview with her alma mater, New York Film Academy, the 30-year-old Brit shared the love for her castmates and talked about being a newcomer to the series.
"Every member of the cast has such a good work ethic," she raved. "It's been great to watch their process for breaking down material and bringing life to it week after week. They are also so encouraging to new cast members, which I think can be rare. They invite you to 'play' in scenes and push you beyond your comfort zone."
Camilla even extended her praise behind the camera to Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes.
"Shonda has a way of keeping her audience on edge time and time again," she observed. "She produces the kind of shows that people are talking about at the watercooler the next day. She doesn't give in to what the audience wants… And always, always it serves for a more captivating storyline. That’s what I like about her. She's just paving the way for females in the industry. She’s showing what a powerhouse women can be."
Alright, ABC, someone get this girl a raise!
Grey's Anatomy Season 11 premieres Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
