Tallulah Willis Discusses Her Struggle With Body Dysmorphia (VIDEO)
Another Willis daughter has lost her clothes for a good cause! Tallulah, the youngest of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s trio of daughters, shed her outer layer for video series The What’s Underneath Projectand while she doesn’t go as far as sisters Rumer and Scout (aka no nipple here), she exposes some pretty personal stuff.
“I have a rule: If you don’t feel good about yourself like in more of a physical way, just don’t look in the mirror,” explains the green-haired beauty. “Nine times out of ten I’ll feel great and then I’ll actually look at myself and that’s when I start to feel like ‘Oh s—t there’s this thing I want to fix. Oh there’s that zit or there’s that thing.’” Please excuse us while we go pick up our dropped jaws because Tallulah, you’re tallula-tely gorgeous!
The 20-year-old tells cameras she’s long struggled with accepting herself and was diagnosed with body dysmorphia as a teen. “I struggled a lot when I was younger,” she says. “Like, I’m diagnosed with body dysmorphia — like reading those stupid f—g tabloids when I was like 13 — with feeling like I was just ugly, like always. I believed the strangers more than the people who love me because why would the people who love me be honest? It was just a conviction.”
Throughout the nine-minute interview, Tallulah talks about figuring out herself and, as a result, her personal style. She sheds a piece of clothing every couple of minutes until, at the end, she’s wearing nothing but a black bra and panties — and looking totally lovely, might we add!
