Jenelle Evans Says North Carolina Courts “HATE” MTV!
Back in the formative years of Teen Mom 2, resident troublemaker Jenelle Evans spent at least half her time in the North Carolina courthouse (aka her home away from home).
This reality star has been incarcerated more times than we can count, but unfortunately fans of Teen Mom 2 have yet to see any of her cases unfold on the small screen. Why? Because the North and South Carolina court houses aren't exactly fans of MTV.
Teen Mom 2's filming crew are almost never allowed inside prisons and courthouses, and Jenelle recently told a fan that her local court loathes the network. Which seems pretty relevant, considering that said fan accused her of getting preferential treatment due to her star status.
"Do u not realize the courthouse where I live HATE mtv," Jenelle explained. "They aren't even allowed on court property..."
If anything, Jenelle's famous face has probably worked against her. Every policeman in North and South Carolina knows who she is, every move she makes is watched, and the court system definitely hasn't been easy on her — hence all those arrests.
The reason Jenelle hasn't been charged with something as dramatic as a felony isn't because MTV helped her, it's because she has an A+ lawyer named Dustin Sullivan who's basically a miracle worker.
Are you surprised to hear how the Carolina courts feel about MTV? And more importantly, do you think Jenelle's gotten off easy because of her role on Teen Mom 2? Let us know below!
