Candice is either rocking her best impression of reclusive socialites Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale (aka “Big Eadie”) or her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale (aka “Little Edie”) — the two women featured in the famous documentary Grey Gardens. Both women were related Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and lived in horrible living conditions out in East Hampton— we’re talking fleas, numerous cats and raccoons, no running water, and garbage everywhere.
We love that Candice has an appreciation for this documentary — which came out in the mid-70s and was remade in 2009 with Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore — because it is considered "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress. Clearly she has great taste.
That being said, if Candice is competing for “Best Grey Gardens Impression,” she’s got some pretty tough competition in Bebe Wood (who played Shania Clemmons on The New Normal). Bebe gave a killer impersonation on the now-defunct NBC series and will always be “Little Edie” to us.
