Glee Season 6 Spoilers: Get Ready For a Song Written By Vikings!
Since Glee Season 6 won’t debut until 2015, we’re chomping at the bit for any new info about the final season of the FOX show, song selections included. After all, one of our favorite things about Glee is getting to listen to the covers each week, and while some may be much better than others (still not over “What Does the Fox Say?” with those puppets) we know we’ll miss them when they’re gone for good.
Filming on Season 6 isn’t slated to begin until next month, but certain people behind the scenes are already hard at work, like brothers Adam and Alex Anders. Both music producers for Glee, the brothers Anders have been tweeting about song selection for this season since earlier this month.
On August 6 Adam tweeted, “Starting another new @glee song today! All I will say is it's one of my favorite songs of all time. And it was written by vikings! #glee.” Okay, we admittedly don’t know enough about music to name any songs written by vikings (and a Google search for that exact phrase was no help at all) but if you have any theories about the tune Adam is referring to then feel free to share below.
By August 13 Adam was back at it again, tweeting, “Off to the studio for another #glee session. Two songs today! Lots to do.... Starting to pick up steam!” Alex was equally as vague, sharing, “Love the song we're working on right now. So much fun! #GleeSeason6.”
Thankfully, to the relief of Gleeks everywhere, Adam gave us one more clue. “Hint: you can spell the name of the artist we are covering today for #glee with the letters in this picture. Good luck,” he wrote in the caption for an Instagram post with a photo of music equipment that reads, “Anders Music, Adam Anders.”
Oy! These brothers sure make us work for it, don’t they?! Any guesses or theories? Dish ‘em below!
