Gwen Stefani’s Son Kingston Takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — See Who He Nominates! (VIDEO)
If your social media feed hasn’t been full of friends and celebs partaking in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, then you ain't seen nothing yet.
Stars, including Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and even Bill Gates, are doing their part by, as the name implies, getting drenched in ice water. So who’s the latest from Hollywood? That would be Gwen Stefani’s eldest son, Kingston.
In this adorable video — we’re assuming shot by mama Gwen — 8-year-old Kingston gets a bucket of water poured on him by his younger bro, Zuma, 5 (can you believe how big he is?!), and what looks like his papa Gavin Rossdale.
But before that happens, Kingston makes a short and sweet intro — and we mean, short and sweet. “Hello, my name is Kingston Rossdale,” he says in the Insta clip. “This is for ALS. I nominate my dog.”
The viral challenge is doing a lot of good for The ALS Association. Not only is it spreading awareness about ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease), it’s even raising donations. As of August 18, money raised by the challenge totaled $15.6 million. Talk about the power of social media!
How cute is Kingston?! We would love to see his pup make a video for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, just saying. The 8-year-old's four-legged friend only has 24 hours to accept, so he'd better get on that!
