Warning: Spoilers for tonight's Episode 5 continue down below. Proceed at your own risk!
Well that threw us for a loop. Looks like Reality Steve's spoilers were a little off-base, thanks to some strategic ABC editing. To really amp up the drama last night, producers cut the episode before the Rose Ceremony ended, leaving us on the edge of our seats for who would be eliminated. So NO ONE went home last night! Maybe this was their way of competing with the Emmys 2014 or maybe it was to pull us in for the second half of the two-nighter (airing tonight), but either way, it worked.
The major question now is whether Graham Bunn will accept AshLee Frazier's rose, and whether that will impact his stay on the show. If you want to know who will go home at the beginning of tonight's Episode 5, read on below! Oh, and don't think that's the only elimination we will see on August 26 — the end brings two more exits, this time it's from the ladies' camp! In other words, it's going to be a bloodbath.
Original story (8/24/14):
What’s better than the Emmys 2014 on August 25? Um, how about a brand spankin’ new episode of Bachelor in Paradise, which let’s be honest, will be much more exciting! Just because there’s a double dose of the Bachelor spin-off this week, doesn’t mean they’re holding back. And in tonight's Episode 4, we will see one fan fave hit the dusty trail. Say it isn’t so!
But first, we’ve got three new houseguests to welcome! Cody Sattler, Kalon McMahon, and Jesse Kovacs are ready to get things popping as the surprise entries this week. Blond buffster Cody, fresh off Andi Dorfman’s Bachelorette season, tries to ask out Clare Crawley at first, but she’s apparently not a V-neck fan and chooses to stick with her current kissing mate, Zack Kalter. Rebuffed, Cody kindly gives his date card to fellow Season 10-er Marcus Grodd to take out — you guessed it — Lacy Faddoul.
Unfortunately, Kalon (of Emily Maynard fame) has just as little even less success than his newbie bro, as he’s rejected not once but two times. Both Jackie Parr and Sarah Herron say pass. Dude is like a Weeble, though, and does not let this get him down, heading on a swimming/rappelling date by himself. And if you thought Jackie’s rejection of Kalon was for Marquel Martin’s benefit, not so fast...
Apparently Jillian Harris season veteran Jesse’s entrance throws a wrench in that pairing, with the hunk wooing Jackie away from the stylish fella. Oh dear, how did Marquel go from three ladies to none so quickly?
Also on the docket? A Robert Graham and Sarah Herron date, and some serious dramz between Clare and AshLee Frazier — yet again. Can’t wait to see that understanding raccoon again!
So with all these shakeups, who is in jeopardy now? Lucky for us, Reality Steve has all the deets. Despite the Clare meddling, Ash’s rose still goes to Graham, Lacy’s to Marcus, Clare to Zack, Michelle to Cody (!), and Sarah to Robert. Only one real surprise there. But that leaves Jackie with the final rose, left choosing between new love interest Jesse and last episode date partner Marquel (oh, and Kalon, but did he ever have a chance?).
Alas, this is the end of the road for Prints Charming, as Jackie opts for scruffy Jesse and Marquel and Kalon are sent packing. Though we are sad to see the one-time Bachelor 2015 hopeful depart our TV screens yet again, this goodbye is a little easier, no?
Bachelor in Paradise airs tonight, August 26 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
