T.I. Harris has already proven he can act. See House of Lies and Single Ladies for proof. But could the rapper now be heading to the silver screen? He wouldn’t mind that.
Talking with USA Today, T.I. fantasy-cast himself in a sports-centric movie. Asked which NFL player he would chose to play in a movie, the “No Mediocre” performer had his picks already drafted.
“Joe Montana,” he said with a laugh before talking serious details. “There’s so much that goes into deciding if you would be a good fit for a biopic.”
He’d also be game to play the now retired football stars Deion Sanders or Andre Rison. Both have ties to T.I.’s native Atlanta and “were both pretty connected with pop culture.” That last bit is particularly important to T.I. “I think it would have to be someone who meant something off the field as well as on,” he explains.
We can already see the screenplay coming together now. Maybe wife Tiny can land a part too?
Would you watch a T.I.-fronted football biopic? What do you make of his team picks over at USA Today? Tell us in the comments! We’re all ears.
