Derrick Levasseur Wins Big Brother 16!

It’s been a long summer of alliances, showmances, and not-so-huge moves, but tonight Big Brother 16 finally came to an end. It was Derrick Levasseur, Cody Calafiore, and Victoria Rafaeli left standing when tonight’s live finale began, but in the end it came down between Derrick and Cody. Who walked away with the $500K? Read on to find out!

That’s right, Derrick is the big winner this year! The dude played an amazing strategic game and was definitely the “puppetmaster” that everyone believed him to be. When it came down to the jury voting for the winner, it was a vote of 7-2, which means Derrick totally dominated this entire season.

It was Cody who won the first part of the final HOH competition, hanging up there longer than both Victoria and Derrick. In the second part — known for being more mental instead of physical — Derrick bested Victoria with no problem. When it came to the third and final part of the final HOH competition (the one played live during tonight’s episode), The Hitmen were forced to compete against each other for the honor of being in power. In the end it was Cody who won the final HOH and took Derrick to the end.

We applaud the game Derrick played this season and are glad that it came down to him and Cody in the end. These two entered into an alliance right off the bat and stayed loyal to the end. It’s not something that happens very often on Big Brother, but it’s something really cool.

Do you think Derrick should have won this season? Hit the comments and sound off!
