As the scene starts, Callie and Owen are setting up an army vet named Jeff with a new robotic leg when Callie notices that the sensors aren't picking up signals from Jeff's nerves. She starts to say so, but Owen ushers her out the door.
"Look, the way his amputation was performed, there's no way this will work, OK?" Callie explains. "It's a crappy amputation, Owen."
"Yeah, probably because it was done in less-than-ideal circumstances," Owen rebuts. "He's a soldier, Callie."
"I feel bad about that. I care about that. I really do," Callie responds. "You know who doesn't care? You know who doesn't give about his service? His robotic leg."
Owen starts commanding her to "figure it out" and "fix it," and Callie objects to his bossing her around on her own project, and before you know it, they're screaming at each other.
Yikes! Maybe the next doc they need to page is Dr. Phil.
